What’s the difference between human hair and synthetic wigs?

Human hair wigs offer the most natural look and feel being a lower density, and can be heat-styled, coloured, and washed just like your own hair. That’s why we primarily stock 100% human hair pieces. Synthetic options are also available.

Do you offer cutting and styling for Human Hair wigs?

Yes! Because we use human hair, your wig or topper can be cut, coloured, and heat-styled to suit your personal look. Our expert stylists can help customise your piece, so it blends seamlessly and feels completely your own

Can I colour my human hair wig later if I change my mind?

Human hair can be coloured. Our specialists are highly trained to deliver any customisations you may need and are happy to discuss what colouring changes are able to be made to your specific piece. Do not try to colour it yourself.

Do you offer virtual consultations?

Absolutely. If you’re not local to Waikato or prefer the comfort of home, we can guide you through the process via video call, including colour matching and measuring.

How do I order a custom piece?

After your consultation, your specialist will let your know the next steps to get your new hair. All cutting and styling customisations can usually be done at the time of your appointment. If colour work is needed, it may take 1-3 days to complete. If we are going to create a whole new piece for you allow 6-8 weeks. If you already know what you want, you can also order online or get in touch, and we’ll assist you directly.

Will people know I’m wearing a wig?

Not if we have anything to do with it! Our wigs and systems are carefully colour-matched and styled to blend naturally, they’re designed to be undetectable.

How do I care for my wig?

Using the right products is absolutely essential to keeping your wig or hair piece in top condition. Our wigs are made from delicate, high-quality human hair, and generic shampoos or styling products can strip or damage them. That’s why with all human hair pieces we provide you with the specialty range of shampoo and conditioner to use at home on your piece, keeping it in optimum condition. All other shampoos and conditioners contain protein, which is great for your bio hair but harmful to wigs, toppers, hair systems and skin patches. Our products are formulated to nourish your piece without weighing it down or causing build-up. We also provide you with a step-by-step video of the washing process, so you feel confident caring for your new hair at home. With proper care using the right tools and products, your piece will stay looking beautiful for much longer.

Can I wear my wig every day?

Yes, many of our clients wear their piece daily. With the right maintenance, it becomes a comfortable, seamless part of your routine.

Do you offer payment plans?

We understand that a quality hair solution is an investment. We offer After Pay and are also a certified provider for the Ministry of Healths wig subsidy, we are also happy to discuss flexible payment options. Just talk to us during your consultation and we’ll do our best to work with your budget.
